Today I met with the Prime Minister to discuss my concerns about sharp rises in teen vaping and what this could mean for the future of our children’s health.

Today at PMQs, I raised my concerns surrounding the potential risks associated with disposable vapes, and their remarkable appeal to children, directly with the Prime Minister.

I am pleased that the Government are listening to calls for more to be done about the rise in youth vaping and are introducing the new illicit vapes enforcement squad to work across the country to clamp down on those businesses who sell vapes to children.

I asked Professor Sir Chris Whitty today at the Health and Social Care Committee about his thoughts on the impact that vaping is having on teenagers.

Tomorrow, I will be introducing my Bill on Disposable Electronic Cigarettes with the aim to ban disposable vapes and e-cigarettes.

Earlier last week, I met again with East Midlands Railway and Minister Wendy Morton MP from the Department for Transport to continue to raise constituents concerns about the Sleaford train timetable and how this impacts commuters and pupils who attend the local secondary schools.
