Last year, the Conservative Government backed Sleaford railway station's bid for accessibility funding and instructed feasibility work to be taken at the station.
I have long campaigned for a suitable lift at the station and I will be continuing to work with stakeholders to deliver accessibility improvements for passengers.
I raised the importance of this funding for my constituents in Parliament. It is vital that Ministers remain committed to the funding provided by the previous Government to address the issues faced by disabled passengers and passengers facing mobility restraints when using Sleaford railway station.
