Many local residents were concerned about the closure of the dispensary services at Cliff Villages Medical Practice.
This morning, I spoke with senior members of Lincolnshire ICB and explained to them some of the significant problems such a closure would pose to my constituents, particularly those who are most vulnerable.
I'm pleased that the ICB have listened carefully to these concerns and have made the decision not to close the dispensary today but instead to keep it running as it is for the next 4 weeks while the initial decision to close it is formally reconsidered.
It will be possible for constituents to contribute to this process and I will share further details when I receive them from the ICB. I expect this to be the beginning of next week.
