Cliff Villages Medical Practice and IVF Review Update
I met with our local NHS ICB Chief Executive Dr Amanda Sullivan and Chief Nurse Martin Fahy to discuss local healthcare provision.
I am pleased that the Cliff Villages Medical Practice has now reopened. Thank you to constituents who have got in touch with me about this. I have been feeding this back to the ICB directly since the closure last week, and I'm grateful to the ICB and staff at the practice for resolving the issue as quickly as possible. I have been assured that the ICB will continue to monitor the progress of the practice.
I also asked for an update on the East Midlands IVF review where I continue to press for fairer NHS treatment for all, including for women whose partner has a child from a previous relationship. The ICB have confirmed that the feedback from residents is being carefully reviewed as the final policy takes shape. Updates can be found on their website in the comments below.
