Discussing the closures of the Lloyds and Halifax bank branches in Sleaford

I know that many residents are concerned about the closures of the Lloyds and Halifax bank branches in Sleaford. Earlier this week, I spoke with Halifax and Lloyds about this decision and highlighted the impact this will have on residents who require in-person services and/or who cannot access online banking.

I welcome that LINK, who carry out assessments when there is a change to the level of cash access in a community, have recommended a Banking Hub with an ATM following the announcement of these closures in the town.

I have previously pressed for a Banking Hub to be established in the town and I am due to meet with LINK soon to continue these conversations. I will be working with them and the various banks to help secure the hub for the town and will keep residents updated.
