I have received the below information about the Lincolnshire ICB's engagement exercise for the Cliff Villages Medical Practice dispensary. I encourage anyone affected by the potential changes to complete this survey and take part in the listening exercises so the ICB are aware of your views.
I have asked the ICB when I can expect to receive the outcome of this engagement exercise and whether the dispensary will remain open after the survey deadline of 30 March whilst the outcome is being considered.
I also understand that pharmacy regulations mean that if a patient ceases to receive dispensary services because a dispensary closes, then if the service reopens later down the line, that patient would not be eligible to receive the dispensary service unless they move home address. In the event that the dispensary closes, patients can maintain their access to GP dispensing by changing practice to another dispensing practice.
Engagement exercise details
The ICB will be engaging with patients during March regarding the changes to services to fully understand the impacts for the local population. This includes a patient survey, available at http://www.lincolnshire.icb.nhs.uk/cliff-villages..., and a number of listening clinics where patients can speak directly with ICB staff about their experiences and any concerns. These sessions will take place on:
· Tuesday 17 March, 6pm–8pm, Coleby Village Hall, Coleby
· Wednesday 18 March, 2pm–4pm, The Venue, Navenby
· Monday 23 March, 6pm–8pm, The Venue, Navenby
Patient survey
Patients can complete the survey online at:
http://www.lincolnshire.icb.nhs.uk/cliff-villages...
Paper copies will also be available. The ICB will deliver paper surveys to the practice and will collect completed copies over the next few weeks. The deadline for returning paper surveys is 12 noon on Monday 30 March 2026.
While this engagement takes place, the dispensary will remain open to maintain continuity of access for patients. Once the engagement is complete, we will of course share the outcome with you, as well as the local community, ahead of implementing any course of action it recommends.
