A letter has been sent to the Chancellor today to highlight the devastating impact that her hike on employer National Insurance contributions will have on Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance. All Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire MPs were asked for their support, and I am grateful to those who agreed to join with me in requesting this exemption from the Chancellor.
The decision to hit this crucial life-saving charity with such a financial burden is fundamentally counter-productive. We urge the Chancellor to exempt Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and indeed all other air ambulance charities from this unfair tax rise.
