It's disappointing that the Government were unable to commit to the 3% of GDP defence spending the report authors said was necessary in the Strategic Defence Review yesterday.
Following the announcement, I was concerned about what the review may mean for various aspects of Lincolnshire's defence sector. As the Minister was sadly was not able to give his commitment in his response, I will be writing to him to seek further clarification.
