After last year’s Autumn Budget, I, Robert Jenrick MP, Victoria Atkins MP, Sir Edward Leigh MP, Gareth Davies MP, Alicia Kearns MP, Sir John Hayes MP and Richard Tice MP wrote to the Chancellor to highlight the impact that her unfair employer NICs hike would have on Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and other air ambulance charities who deliver crucial life-saving care and support our NHS every day.
Today, the Chancellor has delivered her 2025 Autumn Budget. Over 12 months have now passed and we are still waiting for a reply to our concerns about the devastating impact of last year’s policies.
I am grateful to Madam Deputy Speaker for assisting me this week in highlighting this Government's shameful disregard of the people of Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire, and our much admired air ambulance charities.
This Government isn’t listening. They have shown complete disrespect to our constituents and a failure to recognise the real impact their decisions are having.
