Planning Permission Granted for the North Hykeham Relief Road

This means that we’re another step closer to improving the flow of traffic for residents in the North Hykeham area - reducing journey times, improving reliability and completing the full ring road around the city.

Lincolnshire County Council teams will now begin the next steps in the process, with construction projected to begin late next year.

It's great news that the Legal Orders for the North Hykeham Relief Road have formally been approved by the Secretary of State.I welcome that another step has been made in the process. Construction is due to begin next year subject to final approval.
