The previous Conservative government introduced 160 Community Diagnostic Centres, delivering over nine million scans, tests and checks. I welcome that the government is continuing this work.
But some of the other initiatives announced this week are a little confusing. The government’s re-announcements of what has already been happening, in some cases for many years, will fail to deliver real progress for patients.
