Speaking to the Chancellor in Westminster Hall

Two weeks ago, local MPs and I wrote to the Chancellor to ask her to exempt air ambulance charities from her employer’s National Insurance rise.

Air ambulance charities like Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance are not funded by the NHS. Instead, resources are financed through their own fundraising activities.

While the Chancellor’s response to me covered support for the health service, it remains unclear what support there will be for independent charities like LNAA who tirelessly provide critical care to local people across our area.
