Following my meeting with the new Headteacher at Sir William Robertson Academy in September, I wrote to the Secretary of State for Education to request that the school’s rebuild timeline be expedited in recognition of the pressures experienced because of the current facilities.
I am pleased to share that following my request, the new school building project will now start a year earlier than originally planned. This is welcome news and will accelerate the school’s vision by bringing forward improved facilities for local children.
