Like many, I am concerned about the withdrawal of Winter Fuel Payments from many pensioners. This will affect over 20,000 people in the Sleaford and North Hykeham constituency.
People of pension age still have time to check if they're eligible for Pension Credit and apply to receive the Winter Fuel Payment this year.
It is possible for individuals to apply for Pension Credit and have it backdated by 3 months if eligible. This means the latest date to apply and still qualify for the Winter Fuel Payment is 21st December.
