Following the Government Reshuffle last week, we have now written to the new Policing Minister, Sarah Jones MP, to ask for a meeting about the significant and urgent funding pressures for Lincolnshire Police.
We are continuing to press the Government to address this situation and support the Force. If the funding is not provided very soon, Lincolnshire Police could be forced to issue a section 114 notice and make dramatic reductions to police officer and staff numbers.
