Campaigning for Better Healthcare

As a Consultant Paediatrician in the NHS, I am passionate that our health services and social care deliver for our local community. I will continue to use my experience in the health service to work with local leaders and Ministers on improving our NHS and supporting training and recruitment of doctors, nurses and dentists. I am currently campaigning for a new dental school in Lincolnshire to help improve access to local dental provision as I understand access to NHS dental services is a priority for my constituents. I look forward to continuing my conversations with the Government, local universities and health organisations so we can work together to improve NHS dentistry in our county.

Chairing the Westminster Health Forum

I had the pleasure of chairing the Westminster Health Forum this week which focussed on the next steps for improving child health including integrated service delivery, priorities for mental health, and tackling health inequalities.

Calling for a Dental School in Lincolnshire

Yesterday evening, I held an adjournment debate on NHS Dentistry in Lincolnshire. Difficulties in accessing NHS dental services is common in my constituency of Sleaford and North Hykeham, and across our rural county.
